Senator David Perdue COVID-19 Update

The COVID-19 public health crisis has created an economic crisis in our country, making it harder for many Americans to pay for basic necessities.
I've got good news: help is on the way right now.
This week, the Treasury Department announced that relief payments for eligible Americans have started going out.
If you're signed up for direct deposit with the IRS (for instance, if your latest tax refund was deposited in your checking account), you should receive your payment as soon as this week.
For those of you who receive payments by mail, checks will start being distributed before the end of April. For faster delivery, submit your direct deposit information with the IRS here.
To track the status of your payment, click here.
Since this crisis began, our top priority has been to protect the health of every American, while also defending our nation's economic security. These payments will provide much-needed relief to hardworking Americans and assist them in getting through this difficult time.
